Meet Captain Jerre
Charter boat Captain Jerre Austin has navigated the waters off of Cape Cod Bay since he was a young man. From his start aboard commercial fishing vessels to his time serving as a captain through the late eighties, he built a solid base of knowledge and an ever-deepening love of the water.
As the fish and clam stocks began to wane with the industry’s decline, Captain Jerre decided to leave commercial fishing behind and started a new career as a Police Officer for the town of Wellfleet. As much as he missed the helm, his work protecting the community only expanded his appreciation of the area.
However, Officer Austin could not shake the salt water from his veins, and eventually set out on a new adventure. Founding our company, he set his sights on a fun-centered experience that let him use his skills to connect with others who loved the rod and reel.
With his many years of experience on the water Captain Jerre now enjoys sharing tactics and tackle with his guests.
